A high grip anchor is actually a type of rod rotating claw anchor, which is called a high grip anchor due to its high grip to weight ratio. The characteristic of this type of anchor is that the anchor claw has a large soil area, a deep and abundant bottom material, and a very strong grip. However, the anchor claw is prone to breakage and inconvenient to store. There are Mahalanobi anchor, Danfour anchor, speedboat anchor, Schringer anchor, and Starto anchor among the high grip anchors.
Martensian anchor: The structural feature of a Martensian anchor is that the anchor claws are wide and there is a stabilizer bar on the outer side of the middle part of the claws. To prevent stones from getting stuck in the anchor claws and not being able to rotate, the inner side of the claws is made into an arc. Martensite anchors can be manufactured in two forms: welding and casting. Both forms of anchors are commonly used in China.
Danfour anchor: Similar to a Markov anchor, except that the stabilizer bar is arranged at the top of the anchor. It is claimed that the weight of this anchor is particularly large, about three times that of a naval anchor.
Schleinger anchor: Its structural feature is that the stabilizer bar is designed to be inclined and the distance between the two claws is large to prevent the anchor claws from getting stuck by gravel.
Fast boat anchor: hence the name Siyi, it is the anchor used in fast boats. Its structural feature is that the two claws are relatively close, the crossbar is installed on the outside of the claws, and the anchor crown is small. This type of anchor has a strong grip, but the crossbar is prone to bending.
Starto anchor: It is a new type of anchor with high gripping force, with a gripping weight ratio of up to 15-20. The anchor claw is particularly wide, with the crossbar located at the anchor crown and welded. Unlike other anchors, there is a detachable wedge to change the angle of claw rotation.
